Holy Land Pilgrimage

Ciao! Well I have just finished my third semester of classes at the Gregorian. Only 3 more in the first cycle (a bachelors in Sacred Theology) and that means also only 4 months till I return to Saint Louis for the summer! Cardinal's baseball, Budwiser and Bar-B-Que here I come!

As I wrote back in December I was going on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land with a group from the seminary. I included then my iternary so you can check that out below. It was an incredible 2 weeks- the most amazing experiences I think I have had thus far in my Roman sojourn (which I suppose is pretty bold, but I'm holding to it!).

Below I put up a bunch of photos- I didn't have today to comment on them- by next week I will get comments added. For now just enjoy the photos. You a larger section of the pictures on www.flickr.com (under people: cseiler1)

First they will be from Galilee- including the Sea, the Mount of Beatitudes, Capernam, Peter's Primacy, the Waterfall where the Apostles were called, Nazareth, and Mount Tabor (where the transfiguration took place). Then we will transition to Jerusalem and see the Holy Sepluchre (including the empty tomb(!) and Calvary), the Mount of Olives, the way of the Cross, the Upper Room, the Temple Mount, and Peter in Gallicantu (where Jesus was held prisoner the night before he was crucified and where Peter denied him). So here we go!
